Shrinkr Privacy Policy

Summary
Shrinkr is an on-device video compression utility. The app does not collect personal data, does not track you, and does not upload your videos for compression.
Video Files
Videos are selected by you from Photos or Files. Shrinkr copies the selected video into local temporary storage, compresses it locally, verifies the compressed copy, and keeps the original video unchanged. Output files are separate copies that you choose to save or share.
Data Collection
Shrinkr does not include ads, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, account creation, or third-party cloud compression services. The current app does not send your videos, file names, proof results, or usage history to Shrinkr servers.
Photos Permissions
- Photo library read access is used only when you choose a video to compress.
- Photo library add access is used only when you save an unlocked compressed copy.
Purchases
Shrinkr uses Apple's StoreKit for the one-time Lifetime export unlock. Apple processes payment information. Shrinkr does not operate a custom purchase backend.
Required Reason APIs
The app may access file timestamp metadata for local file handling and cleanup. This is declared in the app privacy manifest.
